"When I picked my little guys up from school they were talking about how they loved your turtle and snakes. The oldest loves snakes. Great opportunity for the kids to see a bit of nature." - Denise Jones
"I visited Muxlow Exotics at VF Sports. I just loved all the exotic animals. Tim was very informative on all my questions. This place is a must see for all ages. Especially loved the red footed tortoise!!!!!" - Cea Jai Winans
Tim Muxlow, owner and operator of Muxlow Exotics LLC, has over ten years involvement in coordinating and presenting reptile and amphibian demonstrations to a variety of groups, clubs and organizations.
Growing up, Tim was known for catching native snakes and toads out by the pond and maybe still is known for that today. He spent his teenage years overseeing the care and well-being of many different exotic animal species - from lions and tigers to baboons and brown bears - at two different USDA licensed facilities. Along with being the primary care keeper, Tim also hosted tours of those facilities and assisted in educational presentations around the state. Through his time at two separate USDA-licensed facilities, he has gained extensive experience in the most correct and safe ways to keep and handle exotic reptiles and amphibian species, as well as introducing these critters to the public. Tim also holds a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Earth Science from the University of Michigan-Flint, allowing him to better share his knowledge with others.
After developing his own impressive collection of reptile and amphibian species from around the world, Tim decided to turn his passion into a career and began Muxlow Exotics, LLC in 2013.
